Based off of: 12 Members Cost: $620.00 Members: 12 ------------------------- Contribution per Member: $51.67 USD Now, this doesn't mean you'd have to pay the entire amount. You can contribute as much as you are capable of, I'm not asking people to go poor off of the "Lilium Project", haha. You're more than welcome to contribute more than your share to see this project through, and it's just fine with less than that. When it's time to contribute and after the initial contributions are made, I will post the difference and we can find ways of making it up. There's the latest stats! Any questions, e-mail me at liliumbox@gmail.com. Thanks!

I suggest lowering the contribution fee a tad, I estimate the amount of people interested will exceed 12 by far.

With the goal number of 50 members that would be $12 per member, and that sounds reasonable to me ..

To Foxinabox: I have a page made and yes, it is cleverly hidden ;), I'm just waiting for more members, that way we could reduce the cost which leads me to... To Rynstone: I am going to update the contribution section based off of how many current members as often as possible. I hope that IS often, seeing how we're drawing in more and more members. let's keep up the good work! To Brosten: Haha you are wlling and eager. Don't worry, the "Contribution" page will be coming soon, I'm just waiting for a few more people...and yes, it will be a big "Donate here with Paypal" button lol. FoxInaBox does have it right. For 50 members it would be around $12.40 contribution each, and when the mechanisms are finished they would be available for around $7.00 (+shipping, wherever you maybe). Those are all Sankyo's prices, and I will be working out a way for you to purchase them directly from them, or at least I'm be a good middle man and not charge any fees. This is all non-profit for me, and I won't add on any additional hidden fees. Also, 50 members is a good goal, because the minimum production order is 50 pieces. Which means, with less than 50 members, we'd each have to buy more than one (for example, 25 members means we each have to purchase 2 mechanisms at ~$7.00 each). Any questions, post or e-mail!!

I reckoned ~$20USD was a really good price, but shipping may.... hurt a little. Oh the woes of living in New Zealand! Get the price down to $10USD (What would this be, 200 members?) and we should get alot more people from overseas going for it.

Based off of: 20 Members
Cost: $620.00 Members: 12 ------------------------- Contribution per Member: $31 USD To Arokan: I'm working on getting a larger number of people, but it's taking a while for the word to seep out to the rest of the world, haha. These mechanical mechanisms would be shipped from Japan, as you would be ordering them through Sankyo, not myself (however, I may post a link here in order to place an order), so the shipping may not be as outrageous as we would think. Also, the current contribution is to get the one time fee paid so the mechanisms can be produced, we would still have to buy them afterwards, but they will be reasonably cheap (around $7.00 USD). Which, isn't too bad. The minimum order quantity from Sankyo is 50 pieces, so if we have less than 50 members, we will have to take up the slack a little by buying more than one each. Either way, it's still a great deal, usually something like this goes for more than $7, and for each person to pay $31 (currently) is better than everyone having to pay $670 each to get it made! Any questions, msg me or e-mail!!!

Blue: Thanks for wanting to contribute! I may allow access to the contribution page (it's hidden right now) fairly soon. We seem to be getting more and more members everyday, so I think I'll wait a few more days and see how many members we have. If we can get 50 by Friday, I'll open it up Friday morning, and we can all start contributing! So, as for now, I'd say put a little of that hard-earned dollars to the side and keep it as your own "Lilium" fund until I open the page!! If you have any questions, msg me or e-mail me!

thanks for the project so far! i really apprechiate doing a 23 note movement (i have the sankyo 18 movement box now an that does not sound so good.) as i see it now the money will be collected, stromnova buys at least 50 boxes and forwards them to us having payed for the box +shipping. do you have experience in that? it could end up in a hell lot of work for you. also will the movement be available for others to order from sankyo directly? i for example would immediately buy 10 boxes here and could think of buying 50 directly from them. makes good presents:-) estimated shipping quotes would be cool! cheers from europe!!

Electronica: Just as a reminder, we're working on just the mechanism right now, NOT the boxes. I'm still in talks with Sankyo about producing the entire box, and it could take a while! Now that that's cleared up, you're welcome for doing this. I am pretty passionate about getting this done, so I'm not going to give up on it. I believe the way this is going to be organized (after the fee is paid), is that I will get the shipping amounts for various countries from Sankyo, and I will be the middle man for the shipping. I will not buy 50 boxes, I will just provide the medium of making sure the money and addresses get to Sankyo. Sankyo and I are going to work out the finer details later. The movement will not be available to order from Sankyo commercially...yet. Reason being is that this project is working off of a "limited license agreement" right now, meaning that they can only sell to "Friends" of mine. We are still working on getting a fully licensed product, but that requires jumping a lot of legal tape. Once I get more information about costing, how to purchase, and shipping, I will most glady post it for everyone! Thank you for the good questions! If you have any more, you can post, msg me, or e-mail me!

I want at least one, possibly more. How do I contribute? I've got money and I'm not afraid to use it! While we're at it, why don't we put in a bigger order and then sell the music boxes at places like anidb or other places where otakus - that might be interested but haven't thought so far as to actually do something about it - might hang out?

Ignipotent Incivist: Soon my friend, soon! I am giving it a couple more days of sign-ups before I put up the contribution page. I'd also like to re-clarify that we're working on getting the mechanisms themselves made, not the boxes...yet. This phase of the "Lilium Project" is the most important. I have been in talks with Sankyo about producing the box but that phase is still quite young. When I get more info on it, I'll be sure to post and update everyone! I would place a bigger order, but I am working off of a limited license agreement with Sankyo, which means these can not be made commercially available until I obtain a license between Sankyo, myself, and the proprietors of Elfen Lied. When that happens, however, you can most certainly bet I will go on huge campaign to have them sold every where I could! Thanks for your great questions! If you have any more feel free to post, msg me, or e-mail me!

yepp i got that it's just about the mechanism at this time, was just a typo of mine:-) i'm not familiar with the us laws but to my understanding neither you nor sankyo can be made liable if a company asks you to provide services (providing the tune in that case). consumer sector should be something different. on the other hand ebay is full of unlicenced anime compilations and merchandise and the 18note lilium mechanics are already sold in some stores who obviously don't have to fear any prosecution from the copyright holders of the lilium tune. it's good and fair if you'll end up as the one flooding ebay with lillium boxes:-) btw. why didnt you consider having the complete lilium tune as a (more expensive) music box? i mean even for the now planned mechanics you could easily take 70 USD on ebay and still find more than 50 people a month buying these. cheers

Wow, this is a pretty cool thing you're doing. You're creating a great opportunity for fans of the show to get a one of a kind item that not many people will own. I'm quite impressed. Anyways, I just wanted to let ya know that once you open up for contributions i'll happily donate 100$ canadian (about 90$ US) to show my appreciation for your efforts, and lighten the load a bit for anyone else who wants to contribute. I hope this project turns out great for everyone involved!
